How to Use the Pulsar Rök Electric Dab Rig

• Make sure your Pulsar Rök is completely charged. This can take upwards of two hours, so plan ahead!
• Remove the beaker base from the body of the dab rig. Fill with water until about the halfway point. You can add more or less water depending on your preference, but we recommend starting at half.
• Take your percolator downstem and attach it to the silicone housing of the Pulsar Rök. The base of the percolator should be flush with the silicone body.
• Place the silicone body of the Rök gently onto the beaker base. Make sure that the silicone housing is securely fastened, but do not force or apply pressure to the beaker base (you might break it!)
• Power the device on by pressing the power button five times.
• Using the same power button, cycle through to your preferred heat settings. There are three to choose from and each are indicated by a light. Green is the lowest setting, blue is the middle setting, and red is the hottest setting. Note that selecting the heat setting in this state will NOT begin to heat the device.
• Using a dab tool, place your wax concentrate at the bottom of the quartz cup.
• Start the preheat cycle by pressing the power button for at least five seconds, and as long as 15 seconds. This will begin heating the device to your originally set heating preference.
• Place the included carb cap onto the silicone collar of the device.
• Pressing or pulsing the power button will create different vapor experiences. Feel free to explore and experiment in this stage to create your unique dabbing experience!
• If you would prefer to let the Pulsar Rök do the work for you, pressing the power button twice after securely fastening the carb cap will activate “Rök Mode.” While in this mode, your Pulsar Rök will automatically fire according to the heat settings you have chosen for up to 30 seconds. To exit Rök Mode, press the power button twice.
• If using dry herbs, this process is the same but the equipment is different. Instead of attaching your quartz cup, attach the included ceramic coil cup. When using the green heat setting, the Pulsar Rök will produce vapor. When using the blue or red setting, the Pulsar Rök will produce smoke.

How to Clean the Pulsar Rök

• There are several unique components to your Pulsar Rök that require different steps of cleaning. Carefully following each step will help prevent damage to sensitive electrical components found in various parts of the Pulsar Rök.
• Allow all parts to completely cool after using before disassembling for cleaning.

Cleaning Quartz Cup and Ceramic Coils

• After each use, gently wipe out any residue or ash using a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol. This will help flavors stay fresh in between more thorough cleanings.
• For deep cleanings, use the included Crud Bud cotton buds. If you have already used the included cleaning supplies, we recommend a specialty cleaner like Formula 420 for the safest, most effective clean. You can also deep clean with isopropyl alcohol on cotton swabs, but you MUST allow for the pieces to air dry before using it again.
• Do NOT soak or submerge any of your coils or cups.
• Disassemble your Pulsar Rök so all glass components are separate.
• Soak your glass components in Formula 420 or isopropyl alcohol (the manufacturer recommends at least 91% alcohol concentration). Thoroughly rinse and allow to air dry before reassembling for use.
• The mouthpiece is easily cleaned. Remove the mouthpiece from the large silicone body and wash with Formula 420 or isopropyl alcohol, rinse thoroughly with water, and give ample time for drying.

How To Clean The Vapor Paths

• The metal components that form the Pulsar Rök vapor paths can be removed from their silicone housing. Remove the glass percolator downstem first, and then remove the metal tubes.
• For severe clogs, use the included cleaning brush to break apart stubborn residue or ash.
• Soak metal components in Formula 420 or isopropyl alcohol if needed. Otherwise, use cotton swabs to gently clean away residue.
• Thoroughly rinse components and allow them to dry before firing up the Pulsar Rök again.
