Who is Pulsar Vapes?
Pulsar Vapes is a veteran of the vaping industry, having been around since nearly the inception of the market. When they started, they offered but one humble dry herb vape (the Pulsar 7), but since have developed quite a reputable line of vapes that cover a wide spectrum of interests. In particular, their line of APX vapes has garnered them the most attention. Regardless of what kind of vape you want, Pulsar almost certainly has something for you.
How to Choose Between Pulsar Vapes
Oil, Wax, or Dry Herb Vapes?
Pulsar offers vapes covering the entire spectrum of oil, wax, and dry herbs, though they have the most variety amongst their wax and dry herb vapes. It should be noted that none of these pens are hybrids (they specifically handle dry herbs, wax, OR oil, no combination of the two) so you will want to land on what you want to vape before purchasing. Their ReMEDi line is an exception to this, as they are several models of box modes that can handle multiple 510 threaded attachments.
Pulsar Dry Herb Vapes
There are two models of Pulsar dry herb vapes to choose from, the APX Vape (sometimes referred to as APX Vape 2.0) and the APX Smoker. They both sport great battery lives, are small and compact, and offer great features for dry herb vaping. The APX Vape has precise heating options and an LED screen, whereas the APX Smoker is a more simple vape but has an incredibly fast heating time. Both of these vapes are fantastic options and will be discussed again later in this article.
Pulsar Wax Vapes
Most of the variety of vape models will come in the form of wax vapes. In the APX line, Pulsar offers the APX Wax, the APX Wax with Barb Coil, and the APX Volt, each offering their own unique features for wax vaping. There are several simpler vape pens in the ReMEDi line of vapes that can handle wax, including the ReMEDi Low Temp Frit Quartz Coil-less Wax Pen and the ReMEDi EVOD Variable Voltage, as well as high-end tabletop e-nails like the Hand-E Nail V3.
Pulsar Oil Vapes
Pulsar has one APX vape (the APX Oil) that can be used for oil and a number of vape pens in the ReMEDi line of products. The APX Oil boasts a ceramic oil heating chamber and a 510 threaded connection for prefilled skinny cartridges and a hefty 1100mAh battery. Many ReMEDi products also have a 510 threaded connection, but most will also have a much smaller battery. The APX Oil is exclusively for oils, but if you want a hybrid option, the ReMEDi line is where you want to look.
Which Pulsar Vape is the Best?
Pulsar offers a large catalog of products with niche specialties, so the best vape will be the one that calls out to you the most. You might want to stick with the APX line of vapes if you want more available features, want to dry herb vape, or simply want a larger battery, but the ReMEDi line has a lot of inexpensive options and several models that can handle both oils and waxes if you want a hybrid. Identify what you want and begin to narrow down the search!
Pulsar Coils and Vape Parts
Pulsar offers an enormous catalog of vape parts for a number of their models, making them a go-to choice if you want spare parts or want to try different accessories. This includes spare coils and vape batteries in the ReMEDi line of products, replacement mouthpieces for their APX line of products as well as different kinds of mouthpieces (like a bubbler attachment for the APX Wax). These parts are available directly from the manufacturer and are great for tweaking your vaping experience exactly to your preferred style.
APX Vape vs the APX Smoker
We mentioned these two models before and they are worth taking a closer look. The APX Vape has a 1600mAh battery and precision heating options. The LED screen makes seeing those heating options, and other information, really easy. The APX Smoker has an 1100mAh battery, but boasts a 1.5 hour use time, a 7-second heat time (compared to 30 seconds in the APX Vape), but lacks precision heating controls or an LED screen. Both are great options but offer their own unique experiences with dry herb vaping.
APX Wax vs APX Wax Barb Coil
Both of these wax vape models offer extremely similar vaping experiences. For example, they both have 1100mAh batteries, both boast a 5-second heat up time, and both offer great tasting vapor. The difference comes to the coils. The APX Wax has a triple quartz oil atomizer and all-quartz heating chamber, whereas the APX Wax Barb Coil has dual twisted Kathol quartz coils that put their own spin on producing a fantastic flavor. Both deserve a place in your shopping cart, it just comes down to which coil you prefer.
APX Oil vs ReMEDi "2 in 1" Thick Oil Variable Voltage Mod
Both of these oil vapes come ready with a 510 threaded attachment slot, letting them both take advantage of prefilled 510 cartridges. The ReMEDi comes ready with not only an oil chamber but also a dual quartz concentrate tank letting it handle waxes as well (the APX Oil will not get hot enough to successfully vape wax or concentrates). The APX Oil does offer a larger battery and a preheat function, allowing for different oil flavors to be experienced. Two awesome, but very different, options for oil vaping.
ReMEDi Low Temp Frit Quartz Coil-less Wax Pen vs ReMEDi EVOD Variable Voltage Battery
These two ReMEDi pens may seem similar, but they offer very different features. The Low Temp Frit is specifically for wax, as its heating chamber is quartz designed but lacks a traditional heating coil (the quartz compartment heating would burn normal vape oil). The ReMEDi EVOD is a battery with 510 threading, offering a voltage range ideal for wax and oils (just need to have the right attachment!) Want a dedicated wax pen or a flexible 510 threaded pen open to different vaping options? Decide which is best for you!
