You can always check your Peak’s remaining battery life by clicking the front button three times, which will display the following colors:
When the time comes, you will plug the micro USB cable into the port at the bottom of the Peak’s base, and the other end into a USB port (such as in a computer). While it is charging, the light will pulse white, and then will automatically turn off once it is complete.
After fully charging your Puffco Peak, you will detach the borosilicate glass from the base and fill it with water to just above the air-holes. Then, carefully reinstall the Glass by aligning its inlet hole with the atomizer, pushing down on the front until the lip latches down, and then applying the same pressure toward the back.
Power on your Peak by holding down the button for three seconds, and then use the same button to toggle through the four heat settings:
You will then add your concentrate to the Peak’s bowl by adding a small amount to the bottom surface (avoid overfilling), placing the carb cap on top of the atomizer (with the included tether in place), and double-click the button to initiate the heat-up process. At this point, the light will begin pulsing to indicate that heating is active.
Once the light begins flashing three times, the Peak’s base will also vibrate to indicate that it is ready for vaporizing.
After each use, you will want to make sure that you clean your Peak’s ceramic bowl with a cotton swab (four are included with each kit).
Once enough material has built up inside your Peak’s atomizer, you can remove it by unscrewing the base—after it has had sufficient time to cool!—and then soaking the fully assembled piece in 99% isopropyl alcohol for 30 minutes. If you have a large enough container, you can add the glass and carb cab to your alcohol solution at the same time.
After you are finished, rinse everything clean with water and allow sufficient time to dry thoroughly. Before re-inserting, make sure you also clean the gold threads and connector in the base using a cotton swab.
If you need to store your Puffco Peak after cleaning, you can keep the Glass separate for a slimmer profile.
The Puffco Peak is an excellent option if you are passionate about maintaining the full experience of concentrates, including their flavor, intensity, potency, and effects, without having to worry about a steep learning curve.
The Peak also comes with several advantageous features, including adjustable voltage, four different heat settings, smart temperature control, and a ceramic bowl inside its atomizer, so you will typically achieve a better vaping experience than atomizers that use quartz coils.

However, the Crafty Plus takes meaningfully longer to heat up than the Puffco Plus at 60 seconds and only heats to a maximum of 410°F inside its stainless-steel chamber. You can adjust the temperature via Storz and Bickel’s smartphone app, which could be a nice feature to have, depending on your needs and preferences.
Overall, the Puffco Peak represents concentrate vaping at its “peak”—no pun intended. So, if you can afford the price tag, you likely will not be disappointed by its real-world performance.
