E-CLIPSE Dry Herb Vaporizer Review

After vaping many vape pens and portable dry herb vaporizers, I've now realized that the E-CLIPSE has changed the way we view vaporizer technology.  It's so small, portable, easy to use, and discreet. For those who are fans of vaping dry herbs, the past ten years have seen steady improvements in vaping technology. Still, there was not yet a breakthrough product that would truly alter the way that vaping was both enjoyed and perceived.

Well, look no further, vape pen enthusiasts: The E-CLIPSE vaporizer features cutting-edge technologies -- particularly in terms of its heating methods, size, battery power, and temperature gauges -- that are likely to alter the way that you perceive and enjoy your favorite activity.

Combustion vs. Convection

For those who are unfamiliar with vaping, modern vaporizers tend to rely upon one of two ways to heat and produce inhalable smoke or vapor from dry herbs.

Battery Power

The battery of the E-CLIPSE is higher than most vapes, even those utilizing convection oven technology: It features a 2200 mAh battery that is much greater in power than that of most vaporizers, particularly those that use combustion ovens.

Part of the reason the vaporizer’s battery power is so high is that of its convection oven; after all, it takes a lot to power “true” vaporizer technology.

Another reason for its higher-than-average battery power is that the E-CLIPSE has a much longer battery life than you would expect, given its compact size. Depending on how often you use your vape on a given day, it is unlikely that it will ever need a recharge before the day is over. Put another way: If you bring your E-CLIPSE out for a night on the town, it will almost certainly last you until the early morning hours without needing a recharge.

Temperature Gauge

This is the secret weapon of the E-CLIPSE, and a primary reason as to why it stands head and shoulders above so many of its competitors.

Simpler vaporizers --such as the Atmos Rx -- often did not have any different temperature settings whatsoever: the user would simply turn it on and the herbs would be heated at a uniform temperature.

Then came the next generation of vape pens that would often feature multiple temperature settings. These vapes -- such as the Titan 1 Vaporizer -- would include three separate temperature settings, identified with an LED light that shines different colors according to the temperature at which the vape is set. This was a major improvement over the previous generation. After all, who doesn’t want to have a more customizable vaping experience?

Then came the revolutionary generation of vaporizers. The E-CLIPSE -- much like the Titan 2 Vaporizer-- features a wide range of temperatures that may be customized to suit the desires of the consumer. The options stretch anywhere from 300°F to 435°F, with the consumer able to increase or decrease the temperature at their convenience.

The ideal temperature of the vaporizer will depend largely on the tastes of the person using it. If you’re the type that likes to take the vaping process slow and steady, the lower temperatures will be right for you.

On the other hand, those who prefer to get a lungful of vapor and to feel the effects of vaping almost immediately will tend to favor a higher temperature setting. However, for those who prefer a moderate level, the best setting is likely to be in the mid- to higher 300s.
