How to Use the Yocan Evolve D Herb Vape Pen
- This is a dry herb vape pen, so you will need to grind your dry herb before loading it. It will allow a more even, efficient burn and allow easier vapor flow.
- Load the dry herb into the atomizer. Once loaded, the mouthpiece can be pressed down to help further pack the dry herb.
- To turn the pen on, press the power button quickly five times.
- Once on, press and hold the power button to heat the dry herb and take a hit. When not taking a draw, let go of the power button.
- When you are done vaping, quickly press the power button five times again to power the pen down.
How to Clean a Yocan Evolve D Coils
- The coils are relatively simple to clean. Unlike glass pipes, we do not recommend soaking the coils or any part of the vape pen. Instead, a small cleaning brush will usually be sufficient for cleaning. It will remove pieces of ash and other debris. If there is stubborn residue present, a cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol can be used.
Why Will My Yocan Evolve D Blink?
- The Evolve D has a built in LED light that can convey a lot of information about possible problems that may be causing malfunctions. Below is a guide to some of the common warnings that the light can display:
- Light blinks 8 times and shuts off: This happens when the power button is held for more than 10 seconds, activating the safety shut off. This is a built-in feature that helps protect internal components from being overloaded.
- Light blinks 3 times and pen does not function: Three blinking lights and the pen not functioning indicates an electrical problem in the pen. This could be due to a faulty coil, which can be tested by replacing the existing coil with a new one. The other reason can be a short circuit between the PCB board and the battery. This will require that a new battery is purchased to replace the existing one.
- Light flashes 10 times and does not function: This indicates that your battery is dead. Simply charge the battery with the included USB battery connector and allow for a full charge. A full charge is indicated by a green light.
